Twila Rene Mouttet's Obituary
Twila Rene Washington Mouttet, 54, passed away on June 9, 2015. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was employed with Fort Bend County as a Project Manager with the Public Transportation Department. She previously worked in Corpus Christi with the RTA, was employed with Nueces County where she held several positions including Executive Assistant with former Judge Terry Shamsie and was also a real estate agent. Twila had a huge heart along with a smile that touched many lives. She loved to help and give to others in need. Twila will be remembered for her laughter, strong will, her charisma and love for her family especially her children and she enjoyed being a grandmother. Twila was also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Graduate Chapter. She was preceded in death by her sister; Mia Washington, brother, James Washington Jr., father, James Otis Washington, grandmother, Lola Mae Roland, grandfather, Oliver Washington, and uncle, William Roland Jr.
Twila is survived by her mother; Betty Roland Dawson, daughters; Briana Mouttet and Brandice Mouttet, brother, Ronald Glenn Washington, sister, Tamara Ina and grandfather, William E. Roland and grandmother, TBirtie Washington, one granddaughter; Brielle Simmons and she had one grandson on the way. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Matthew Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
