Mrs. Thelma Buggs Morgan was born on October 7, 1934, to the late Mr. Hugh Buggs and Mrs. Georia Buggs.  She was the third child born in this matrimony.

She was born in Crockett, Texas, where she attended school. Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker, a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and attended Bethel Baptist Church in Crockett, Texas. After moving to Corpus Christi, Texas, she joined St. John Baptist Church and served faithfully and graciously all her life.

Mrs. Morgan was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Wilbert G. Morgan on March 24, 1954 and remained married forty-nine (49) years. They had one child, Eugene Dewayne.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Georia Reece Buggs; father, Hugh Buggs; brother, Napoleon Daves Buggs, and sister; Mary Lee Barker.

Mrs. Morgan leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Eugene D. Morgan (Ginger); grandson, Kwame Morgan; granddaughters, Highly Righteous Morgan, Mariah Morgan; step-granddaughters, Gianna Greene, Victoria Greene; two nieces, two nephews, three sisters-in-law, and a host of relatives and friends.

She will be missed by all.
