Teddie B. Canada, age 82,  passed away on July 13, 2018. Teddie was born on September 24, 1935 to the late Theodore Brown and Blanche McCampbell. She was born and raised in Kenedy, TX and in the early 1960's she moved to Corpus Christi, TX. Teddie retired from Sam Kane Meat Processing plant in 1999. And she spent her retirement being a Senior Companion for the city of Corpus Christi until she took ill in early 2018. Teddie was a loving mother, grandmother ("Mommaw" as her grandkids called her), sister, aunt, and friend.

Her loving presence may no longer be here with us but will always live on in our hearts. She was preceded in death by Theodore Brown and Blanche McCampbell (parents). 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Teddie is survived by 4 children Charles, Phillip, Shelley and Micheal. 3 grandchildren Misty, Chasity and Shawanda. 7 great- grandchildren and one great great grandchild Devyn she gave her the nickname of "Baby D" and a host of nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
