Mar 6, 1969 — Mar 27, 2022
The Life of Shalane Lashae Williams
Shalane Lashae Williams was born on March 6, 1969, in San Antonio, TX to the late Carrie Ellen and Harold Williams Jr. She accepted the Lord at an early age and was baptized at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She renewed her commitment at Christian Revival Center. Shalane graduated from Richard King High School.
Shalane was a devoted mother, loving sister, kind relative and generous friend. Her mama was her best friend and one can only imagine the smiles they had when they were reunited. She loved to cook and had a hot meal ready for anyone who was hungry. Her barbecue and enchiladas were the best! She enjoyed all kinds of music and loved sitting around with family and friends listening to it on any given day. Laughter was her best medicine and she loved to joke and smile until the very end. It's no surprise that her home going celebration began with a wake on April 1 st . Her family affectionately called her Boppa. The Hoodye family reunions were among her favorite destinations. Hot Girl ….
On March 27, 2022, Shalane took her rest and went home to be with our heavenly Father. She is preceded in death by her parents, her uncle Allen James Hoodye, her aunt Linda Ann Winn, her nephew Nathan Imeere Williams and special friend Jader Givens.
