Samantha Olvera took her first breath in heaven on the evening of Saturday, May 18, 2024. She was 37 years old. Samantha was born February 26, 1987, at Corpus Christi Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jose Luis Olvera and Alicia Olvera

Samantha Olvera was talented in so many ways. From cooking and baking to graphic and interior design. And those who knew her, knew she loved her makeup as well. She turned her loves and passions into multiple careers. From her mouthwatering confections to designing homes and creating breathtaking interiors. Samantha loved the Lord, people, and ministry. Her heart went towards youth, and she used her talents in the media department. Her God given gifts opened the doors to bless many people over the years and still impact people today.

Samantha is survived by her father Jose Luis Olvera and her siblings, Randall (Rosie) Dierlam, Jose Luis (Eliza) Olvera, and twin brother Christopher (Kassandra Denisse) Olvera. Nieces and nephews, Zoey Rose and Zayah Rose Dierlam, Hector Ramirez, Paul Gonzales, Eliza Desire Gonzales, Jose Salvador Garcia II, Emily Elise Garcia, and Katalina Denisse Olvera.

Samantha Olvera was kindhearted and always brought joy and laughter to the people around her. Her family was one of her greatest joys and she loved her nieces and nephews with all her heart. She also had another family in her life! The gaming world where Samantha (aka Moonfries) made long lasting friends, loved to joke, have fun, and went live for people to watch. She also never hesitated to be a blessing and give back. Anyone that ever-needed help knew Sam could do it. With everything she did, she relentlessly gave it her all! Samantha was always full of life, and it poured into others around her. Her beautiful smile, kind heart, loyal friendship and love for weird things will be greatly missed in our lives.
