Porfirio Sam Lopez passed away Feb. 19, 2016. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on May 15, 1942 to Domingo and Consuelo Lopez. He was a cement finisher by trade and worked with various companies through the years. Some of his passions were singing, shooting pool, and he was a good dancer.
He is preceded in death by his loving daughter Diana Flores (Roland), his parents Domingo and Consuelo Lopez, and numerous brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his former wife Viola Lozano, daughters Cynthia Ann Maqueda (Ignacio), Ysaura Pearales, Magnusson (Eric). Sister, Irma Deleon. Sons: Luis A. Lopez of Katy,Tx (Sheri) Domingo Lopez of Houston, Tx Jane, Danny Jr. Anissa, Andrew, Eric, Jacob, Cody, and Caleb. Numerous nieces, nephews, Primas and Primos
Grandchildren: Ignacio Maqueda (Stephany), Danny Maqueda (Adriana), Diana Maqueda, Benjamin Lopez, Sara Lopez both of Katy, Texas. Stephanie Carranza (Eric), April Revrovich (Reece) both of San Antonio, Texas, Adrian Magnusson, Rosemary Magnusson. Great grandchildren: Ignacio lll, Christina, Devon, Rain, Mary Jane, Danny Jr. Anissa, Andrew, Eric, Jacob, Cody, and Caleb. Numerous nieces, nephews, Primas and Primos
Visitation will begin at 5 to 9 p.m. Friday Feb. 26 with a Rosary to be recited at 7p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 27 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
