Omar Miles White's Obituary
Omar Miles White was born on November 9, 1984, to the parents of Mr. James Stewart and Miss. Ethel Jo White in Corpus Christi, Texas. Omar was the youngest of six children. Omar received a formal education from the local Corpus Christi Independent School District.
At an early age Omar accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He would join church at Rising Star Baptist Church and was baptized by the late Rev. Harry Adams. Omar would do his duties with the church by being an Usher, singing in the Junior Choir and attended Brotherhood on a regulars' basis.
He made his final transition from Earth to Eternal Rest in Heaven on Friday, December 15, 2017. He is preceded in death by his beloved Grandmother, Carry Jo White Russell, Sister Tausha Shane White and Aunt Adalaide Turner.
Omar leaves to cherish his precious memories,his loving wife, Laura Escalante, his son Zackery Myles White of San Antonio, TX; his father and mother James & Ethel Jo Mitchell of Corpus Christi, TX; three sisters, Vonson Monique White & Paulette Lewis both of Corpus Christi, TX and Evette Shanta White of Jacksonville, Florida and one brother David Lee White of Corpus Christi. Uncles, Robert Pigford of Austin, TX, Richard Anderson of California and Charlie White of Corpus Christi, TX. Aunts, Francien Kelly of Houston, TX, Amanda White Persley of Austin, TX and Valerie Russell White of California.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthews Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
