Michael Anthony
Austin
Dec 5, 1979 — Jun 8, 2025
In Loving Memory of Michael Austin
Today, with heavy hearts, we announce that Michael Austin went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2025. Born on December 5, 1979, Michael (aka 6'9, Polo, Big Mike, Snoopy Austin, and Damnutall) was a beam of light with his spirit, laughter, and unwavering love that will live on in the hearts of all who have known him. Though his physical presence has left us, his spirit, laughter, and unwavering love live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather Lonzo Bryant, uncle Lonzo Bryant Jr., as well as his grandmother Shirley Bryant, whose guidance and love helped shape the man he became. He now joins them in eternal peace.
He leaves behind a powerful legacy through his three beautiful children: Michiah Austin, Maliyah Austin, and Mazion Austin. They were the light of his life, his greatest pride, and the reason behind so many of his smiles. Michael's love for his children was fierce, unwavering, and unmatched.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Patricia [Willie] Williams, and father Joseph Bryant, who raised him with strength and love. Michael's memory will also be carried on by his grandmother, Katherine Thornton and his siblings Marcus and Taneisha [David] Williams of Corpus Christi, Tx., Beverly Bryant of Houston, Tx., Katerina [Cole] Carpenter of Gainesville, Tx., Mallary [Adam] Owen's of Okinawa, Japan, Matthew Bryant, Ameristine Bryant, Latasha Allen, Tiffany Porter, Makayla O'Neill Michael Allen, Christopher Bryant, Joshua Cervantes, Jacob Gonzalez all of Corpus Christi, Tx. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles who will forever feel the absence of his presence and the warmth of his spirit.
Michael's life was one of deep love, quiet strength, and immeasurable kindness. To know him was to be loved by him. His presence filled every room, and his absence leaves a void words can't begin to fill.
We find comfort in knowing that he now rests in the arms of the Lord, watching over those he loved so dearly. His journey on this earth may have ended, but his story lives on in every heart he touched.
Rest well, Michael. You are deeply loved and eternally missed. One love. One life.
