Merecedes Del Socorro, 72, of Nicaragua passed away on November 10, 2022. She was born on May 19, 1949 in Chinandega, Nicaragua to Paula Garcia and Marcos Silva. Mrs. Hernandez worked as a Nurse, Provider Services, CNA. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents Paula Garcia & Marcos Silva.

She is survived by her husband Ricardo Hernandez, her children: Indiana Favata, Marcos Corea, Francisco Corea, Grandchildren: Paula Corea, Anthony Favata, Mariana Corea, Nicole Corea, Francisco Gabriel Corea, Siblings: Azucena Garcia, Silvia Garcia, Jose Benito Garcia.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on 14th November, 2022 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on 15th November, 2022 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with a Cremation to Follow.
