Marilyn Jean LeFridge, 66, of Corpus Christi, TX received her crown September 09, 2015. Marilyn was born in Taft, TX on April 5, 1949 to Myrtle Green LeFridge and Amos LeFridge. She leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy a son, Joe P. Walker of Corpus Christi, TX; foster daughter Angel Jones; granddaughter, Sharee Jones and Barteecia Williams; great grands Zion Maxwell and Ariel Williams all of Dallas, TX; sister Myrtle Goodley of Beaumont, TX; god sisters, Daisy Chase of Corpus Christi, TX and Marilyn Jones of Dallas, TX.; aunts, Alberta Yancey of Corpus Christi and Jewel Brown of Victoria, TX. as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.
Marilyn was a faithful member of Rising Star Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Rising Star Baptist Church.
Interment to follow at The Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Portland , Texas.
