On September 28, 2021 our beloved mother departed this world to be with the Lord. Maggie Lee Stoney was born in Gonzales, Texas on May 14, 1934 to the late Jack Tealer and Rosell Williams. She graduated from Solomon M. Coles. She worked as a caregiver, babysitter, braslaus furniture store and CCISD crossing guard. She was united in marriage to the late Deacon Samuel Edward Stoney for 60 years. They leave behind one son Michael Stoney and two daughters Sondra (Rev. Herbert) Duhart of Corpus Christi, Tx. and Karen Stoney of Dallas, Tx.

Maggie Stoney was a member of Calvary First Baptist Church and Emmanuel Church Ministry where she served on the nurses core, Deacon's wives, she also sung in the Gospel Expression Choir and Emmanuel Voices of God. She also leaves six grand children and eight great grandchildren and abundance of nieces and nephews.
