Maggie Mae Miles of Corpus Christi, TX, was peacefully called home to be with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, on December 8, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 30, 1940 in Wharton, TX to the late Charlie and Olivia Lands. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She graduated from Wharton Training High School. Maggie later
married Johnny Miles and to this union four children were born. She was a faithful member St. John Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, TX; Dr. Derrick E Reaves - Pastor.  She worked in the food service industry for 42 years. She worked for Luby's Cafeteria in
Longview, TX where she retired after 27yrs of service, after which she went to work for CCISD for 15 years.

Maggie is preceded in death by her son Adrian Miles, parents Charlie  and Olivia Lands, sister Earnestine Miller, brothers Charlie Lands Jr.,  Alonzo Lands, and R.L. Lands.
Maggie leaves to cherish her loving memory; husband Johnny Miles, three daughters Amanda Miles (Corpus Christi, TX) Sharon Miles, and Laurie Miles both of Longview, one sister Roberta Duhart of Corpus Christi, TX and one brother William Lands of Wharton, TX, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Maggie Mae Miles will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at Heritage Memorial Funeral
Home. 5206 Old Brownsville Rd. Corpus Christi, TX 78405. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017, with
viewing to start 11am-12pm. Service will start at 12pm at New Hope Community Church. 226 N. Fulton St. Wharton, TX 77488
Interment will follow at Peach Creek Cemetery.
