Lee Andrew Brooks' Obituary
Lee Andrew Brooks passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side, on July 6, 2015 at the age of 76.Lee Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Ethel Lee Brooks; his brothers; Jesse, Charles, Elbert and Eddie Brooks; sisters, Ruthie Campbell, Sadie Brooks and Aretha Crawford.
Lee is survived by his wife of 53 years, Doris Lee Brooks, children; Eugene Adams (Norma), Shina Gosson (Doniel), Lee Andrea Brooks (Beverly), Darryl Bussey and Tynisha Ovalle (Frank), one sister, Odessa Young (Robert) and one brother, Johnny Brooks. He is also survived by a special nephew, Andrew Bridges (Elaine) and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Wake Service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. HomeGoing Services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Westhaven Baptist Church. Interment to follow at RoseHill Memorial Park.
