Katie Lee Townsell's Obituary
Katie Lee Smith Townsell age 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 15, 2015. Katie was born on May 16, 1934 in Muldoon, Tx. She was a faithful member of West Haven Baptist Church. She was retired from the Corpus Christi State School and Walmart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Louis Sr., and Pearlie Smith, Her Husband of 56 years Claude A. (Buddy) Townsell. Three Brothers; William Smith, Louis Smith Jr. and Walter Smith, Sisters; Ollie Mae Green and Helen Walker.
She leaves to cherish her memory; Her son, Patrick Townsell of Corpus Christi, Texas; Two Daughters; Donna Cochran of San Diego, CA and Reasta Harrison (Travis) of Corpus Christi, Texas. 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Sister; Cora Smith and 1 Brother; Clyde Smith, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at West Haven Baptist Church.
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery
