Harvey Garcia Torres of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on June 1, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas where he worked for STX Beef Inc.  Funeral services for Harvey will be held on Friday June 10, 2022 at 1pm at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, 5026 Old Brownfield05/ Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78405 with Deacon officiating.  Viewing will be held on June 9, 2022 from 5p-8p with the Rosary beginning at 7p, also at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Harvey "Harv" was born May 22, 1957 in Del Rio, Texas to Francisco A. Torres and Lolina Garcia Torres.  Harvey was married to the love of his life Anna Gonzales Torres on February 16, 1985.  Spending time with his family and going to church were at the top of his list of priorities.  In addition, Harvey also enjoyed playing golf, running, working out, and playing baseball and softball.  The greatest joys for him were his grandchildren, his three sons, and his girls, and his wife.  The love that Harvey had for his family knew no bounds.

Of those left behind, Harvey is survived by his wife Anna Torres, his three sons Nathan Torres and fiancé Jessica Le, Isaac Torres and wife Charity Torres, and Dominick Torres and fiancé Danielle Puente.  He is also survived by those of whom are considered to be his most precious gifts to him, his grandchildren Sean, Solomon, and Hannah Torres.

In addition, he leaves behind his brother Francisco Torres III and wife Yolanda Torres of Amarillo, Texas, sister Diana Salinas and husband Richard Salinas of Hereford, Texas, brother Ricardo Torres of Houston, Texas, brother Eduardo Torres and wife Zenayda Torres of Lubbock, Texas, sister Olga Torres of Lubbock, Texas  and Mireya Hernandez and Husband Benito Hernandez of Herford, Texas as well as 59 nephews and nieces, and many, many great nieces and nephews.  Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Diana Torres and Elvidia Ward, and brother Enrique Torres.

Harvey worked for STX Beef Inc in Corpus Christi since June 8 2020, and worked at Globe Life Insurance in Phoenix Arizona.  Harvey worked in the beef industry for 37 years of which included;

BJM Sales and Service - Hereford, Texas

Swift Co. - Hereford, Texas

Harvey was also an incredible man of strong faith with the understanding that God is good, All the time and All the time, God is good. Harvey was always giving and loved unconditionally and lived life through his motto:  Work hard. Be happy. Move forward and never look back.
