Gladys G Toussant's Obituary
Gladys G. Toussant, age 62, was called home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2015. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Edwin O. Davis and Rosalie T. Davis on June 6, 1952. She got married and moved to Galveston, Texas where she worked for the Galveston Police Department. She moved back to Corpus Christi in 1990 and started working for Circle K which is now called Stripes. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her health failed. Gladys was also a member of Roy Miller Ebony Club and the Anointed Voices.
She is survived by her two sons, Taj Toussant of Austin, Texas and Chavis Toussant of Corpus Christi, Texas, sisters, Julie (Albert) Levingston and Beverly Davis, one brother, Ramsey Davis, three grandchildren, LaDarin Toussant, Anthony Toussant and Chavis Toussant, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Baptist Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
