Obituary

Gilbert Alaniz, age 49, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019. He was born February 16th, 1970 in Houston, Texas to the late Trinidad Alaniz and Josefina Meraz. He is preceded in death by his father, Trinidad Alaniz, grandparents Tomas and Bernarda Diaz, and his daughter, Jannelle Resurez.

Gilbert was a long time resident of Kingsville and Corpus Christi, Texas. In his younger years, he served as a certified landscaper and was a skilled painter. He was loyal and passionate about his relationships with friends and family.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his girlfriend, Leticia Guerra; mother, Josefina Meraz; brother, Preciliano (Belinda) Alaniz; children, step-children, grandchildren; aunts, uncles, extended family; and close friends.
