Eva Lee Ewers Smith's Obituary
Eva Lee Ewers Smith died on June 3, 2016 at the age of 78. She was born on December 9, 1937 to Arthur Lee Ewers and Eva Boston in El Campo, Texas. The family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas one year later.
Preston and Eva were joined in Holy Matrimony on July 4, 1959.
Eva was a Solomon Coles Alumni, a member of St. John Baptist Church, retired as a crossing guard from Corpus Christi I.S.D. after 27 years of service.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Mack Ewers, four grandchildren, William Spencer Terrell Jr., Wendell Lee Ewers, Warren Eugene Mack, and Sharyce Zhane Ewers Farris. Three and a half great grandchildren, Donovan Preston Terrell, Devin Spencer Terrell and SaMiyah Simone Ewers.
Visitation will be Friday June 10, 2016 6-8 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Saturday June 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery .
