Mrs. Earline Thompson (Randle) died peacefully on September 5, 2016 in Corpus Christi, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 siblings, two sons, Joe Lee, Sr. (Jessie) and Larry (Grace), one grandson (Joe Lee, Jr.), one great-grandson (Issac) and her beloved husband of 51 years. Earline Thompson was born on December 13, 1923 in Wharton, Texas to the late Charlie and Althia Randle. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great- great grandmother, sister, aunt  and friend. She was a loyal and dedicated member of St. John First Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her health failed.  Earline served on the Usher Board, an in the Women Mission Society.
Sis. Thompson is survived by her 11 children Daniel (Michelle) and Steve Thompson (Marsha), Houston, Texas; James Thompson, Jr. (Sharon), Jestine Knox (Renior), Lavern Hoodye (Johnny U), Ida Simmons (John), Harry Thompson (Ada), Hazel Burris (Jimmy), Christine Jackson (Lester) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Ray Randle (Francis U), of Victoria and Louis Randle of El Campo.

A visitation and  Wake Service  will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, 5026 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405 from 6pm-8pm. Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at St. John First Baptist Church, 1620 North Port Avenue Corpus Christi, Texas 78401. Pastor William L. Pullam will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sister Thompson's life.
