On Sunday, July 18, 2021, Earl Lester Foreman, Sr., loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away at the age of 78 in the loving presence of family and friends.
Earl was born on January 28, 1943 in Crockett, Texas to Vernon Wade Foreman and Ruth Lateria LaRue. He met his future wife, Erma Jean Callahan in Houston, Texas while attending Texas Southern University in the early 1960s. Earl and Erma were married on August 26, 1963 in Corpus Christi, Texas where they raised their three children, Anthony, Earl Jr., and Angela and their great-nephew, Jarron (aka JAM).
Earl retired as a maintenance planner/scheduler from Flint Hills Resources (Koch) Refinery in 1999 after 30 years of employment. For those that knew Earl, knew how much he loved his family. He filled his retirement years surrounded by and supporting his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-nephew.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Jean, his mother, Ruth, his father, Vernon, and his sisters, Ella Gary and Patricia Johnson. He is survived by his children, Anthony Foreman (Houston), Earl Foreman, Jr. (Houston), and Angela Sanders, his brother, Robert Foreman, his sister, Sandra McIntyre (San Antonio), his nephew, Jarron McIntyre (San Antonio), his granddaughters, Sydney Foreman (Houston) and Jordyn Sanders, his grandson, Brailon Sanders, and his great-granddaughters, Aa'Mirah Hurd, Aa'Riyah Hurd (Houston) and lil'Jurnee who will arrive any day now. He will be greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
The viewing and homecoming service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Calvary First Baptist Church at 2906 Carver Dr. beginning at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow on Monday, July 26 at 11 am at Memory Gardens.
