Obituary

Clarence E. Glynn, 75 of Corpus Christi, Texas was called home to be with The Lord Friday, May 15, 2015.. He was the son of the late Eldridge and Hattie (Moore) Glynn; and loving husband to Voncille Glynn. He was preceded in death by his parents; His brothers, James C. Thompson, and Carl E. Thompson and a sister Hattie Mae Glynn Hubbard.
Clarence served 24 years in the US Army and retired as first Sergeant in 1984. He worked in security for Koch Refinery and CCISD.He was a fun loving man whose favorite past time were music. dominoes, sports and scratch offs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years; Voncille Glynn, children; Eugene Lamont Ballard (Cynthia) of Statesboro, Georgia, and Jamilah Glynn Porter of Wilmington, N.C.; Stepchildren Derek Adams(Regina) of Austin, Texas, Monique DeRouen(Ray) of Houston, Texas. Sisters; Marilyn Tate and Alnetia Odoms(Riley) of Missouri City Texas and Esther Rhae Hill (Sammy) of Spring Texas.5 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20,2015 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Westhaven Baptist Church, 1902 Cliffmaus Dr. Interment will be held at Coastal Bend State Cemetery.
