On Friday morning, September 1, 2023, our Heavenly Father called Charles Earl Evans to a peaceful rest. He was born July 7, 1947 in Corpus Christ, Texas to Johnnie Beatrice Evans.

Charles received his education in the Corpus Christi Independent School District at Roy Miller High School. Charles always had a passion for serving, he enlisted in the Navy shortly after high school and served for many years. In 1973 he moved to Iowa where he used his talent and skills at Protector and Gambling until retirement. After retirement he went Full time ministering the gospel.

In 2007 Charles married is wife Victoria at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church

Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie B, His sister Dorthy Greathouse, brothers Fred Thomas Martin and Herman Lee Evans, and nephew Kevin. Those left behind to cherish is memory includes his lovely wife Victoria Evans, daughters Neva Evans, Shatoria Shepard(Andrew), son Georgio Jackson, god daughter Moriah Dulun, spiritual daughter Sardike JB Williams, Grandchildren, Amber Evans, Faith, Tori, Andrew, Nova and great grandson Aven. Alongside many other family and friends whom lives he's touched in many ways.
