Carlos "BIG BIG" Bernal of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on December 7, 2017 at the age of 44. He was born on February 23, 1973 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is preceded in death by maternal grandma, Eva Garza Bernal, his mother, Gloria Bernal, father, Hector Gonzalez, brother, Gabriel Bernal, uncle Noe Bernal and wife, Lisa Elizondo Bernal.
He is survived by his wife, Alvita De La Paz Bernal, sisters, Leah Olivo (Alfonso Soliz) and Gina Silva, his sons, Ryan Rodela, Rene Leal (Jessica Leal), grandchildren, Branden, Alexandrah, Maddilynn Leal and Brooklyn Rose Rodela nieces, Gina Marie Gonzalez, Gennalee Glory Soliz, nephew Sebastian Alexander Soliz, uncle Alfredo Bernal, aunt Teresa Galan and numerous cousins and friends.
Carlos was a very caring and loving individual who loved to help everyone he came across. He loved Jesus and thanked him everyday.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 P.M. that same evening.
