Carlis P. Leonard was born December 3, 1952, to the late Raleigh Prince Sr. and the late Hazel Prince. At an early age, she accepted Christ with St. Peters Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death. On September 2, 1972, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Eddie Leonard. To this union two children were born: Byron and Deidre. Carlis retired from V.I.S.D. after serving 24 years. She was very passionate about her family and sports, in particular, the Dallas Cowboys. Carlis departed this life answering the calling of her Lord and Master on Saturday, December 14, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, a devoted husband, and her brother, Raleigh Prince Jr. Left to share fond and loving memories are her Son: Byron Leonard (Tiffany) of Round Rock, TX; her daughter Deidre "Nikki" Kirts (Shawn) of Round Rock, TX. Five Grandsons: Deven, Nathan, Jaden, Tyree, and Tavion. Two Granddaughters: Taedra and Jamiya; Brother: Carl Prince Sr. (Marilyn) of Victoria, TX. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
