Britt Rector, 70, a lifelong resident of Aransas Pass, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was born on December 5, 1954, in Aransas Pass, Texas, to Allen and Lillie Rector, Sr. He was an easy-going man with many family members and friends in Aransas Pass, as well as in other surrounding towns. Anyone who honked their horn or saw him in person would be greeted with a bald fist thrown high in the air and a huge smile on his face.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Lillie Rector, Sr.; one sister, Paulene Powell; and one brother, M.J. Rector. He is survived by two sisters: Pearlene Walls of Rockport, Texas, and Pearl Denmon of Aransas Pass, Texas; three brothers: Allen and David Rector of Aransas Pass, and Lonzell Rector of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Also considered family were his very close and dear friends, neighbors, and all who held a special place in his life. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 2003 W.
