Bobbie Marie Lamkin Fennell was born in Robstown, Texas, to Odessa and Robert Lamkin. Bobbie's early education began at Phyllis Wheatley Elementary in Robstown and Solomon Coles High School in Corpus Christi. She joined in her relationship with Jesus and attended Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist church. She later attended church in Lampasas, Texas. She was trained in Cosmetology and serviced her professional life as a Beautician.
She married Mr. Jackson.
She had four children. Nieya, Dulilah (Laya) and Eddie Blake who proceeded her in Heaven. She is survived by her oldest son Vendra. Her siblings Lillie Mae McClinton, Ruby Jean Colvin and Robert Junior Lamkin proceeded her in Heaven. She later married Mr. Fennell who also proceeded her in Heaven. She is survived by her youngest sister Velma Alene Tilley.
She leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even thought our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the which are seen, but the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
