Barbara Joyce Jackson Finley, lovingly known as "MIckey" was the baby of seven children born to Clarence W. and Bernice Mays Jackson in Robstown, Texas. Her parents, one brother Carroll and four sisters Betty Lou, Lila Lee, Tommye, and Bernice (Tiny) preceded her in death.
At an early age Mickey professed a hope in Christ and was baptized at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, the church in which her grandparents were founding members. Barbara also taught at Solomon Coles High School in Corpus Christi, Texas for one year after graduating from Texas Southern University where she met her Husband of 55 years, Willie David Finley.
In departing this life, on May 3, 2016 Mickey leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband Willie David Finley, one brother, Clarence (Carlene) Jackson, two devoted sons: Dwayne (Pam) Finley, David (Stephane) Finley, one daughter Dione (Keith) Morehead.
