Arthur E Lott's Obituary
Arthur Eugene Lott was born in Goliad County to the union of Ruben and Carrie Lott on February 10, 1933 and departed to his heavenly home on January 23, 2016. He served in the US Army and fought in the Korean War. During his service in the Army he was awarded 3 Bronze Stars for his heroic acts and meritorious achievements and was honorably discharged in July 1953. He worked as a Mail Carrier for the US Postal Service for 27 years.
Arthur is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Aline Lott, sons Kenneth (Gay) Lott of Houston, TX and Thomas (SeRaphia) Lott of Sinton, TX and daughter Darlyn (John) Belle of Corpus Christi, TX; his brother, Percy (Lillie) Lott of Houston, TX; grandchildren La-Donya Smith of Corpus Christi, TX, Verlon Smith of Colorado Springs, CO, Traci (Darryl) Hart of Austin, TX, Timothy (Chelsie) Hearne of Moore, OK, Tiffany Hearne of Arlington, TX, Donyell Lott of Houston, TX and Joseph Lister of Corpus Christi, TX; 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church with Pastor Derrick Reaves, Officiating. Interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
